Magic is real. The world has a side that’s hidden and strange. And you are the magicians who walk there.

This is a compact, rules-light game of characters with magic in a world very like our own. It has a freeform magic system, and just enough metaphysics to be interesting. 

What's it like?

It’s a game of contrasts and balances: ancient and modern, normal and strange, metaphysical and personal.

With magic, players create effects on the fly - using creativity to substitute for lots of detail and exceptions. The setting has key elements, adaptable for the stories and themes you want to feature in your games. The otherworld can be the source for whatever other supernatural creatures you want to have visiting. 

Stories can range from wonder to horror; from enigmas to action. Which roads will your group walk?

The system is based round two d10, don't go over stat, with various other bonus and opposition dice as needed. (It's the same core as my other recent games, adapted differently.)

Status: v 0.6. This is a polished product, but it has not been playtested. (I've been designing and publishing games for a long time, elsewhere, so if there are any issues they should be small and localised.)
